Downloads

Use this page to download the Auto Settings build you need.

Choose a Version

Before downloading, check the Versions page to confirm which plugin version and engine version you need.

  • Use the Epic Games Launcher for current stable releases.
  • Use Fab Additional Files for beta, legacy, or other archive builds that are not distributed through the Epic Games Launcher.

If you are not sure which version to choose, use the Epic Games Launcher to get the latest stable release.

Get Current Stable Releases

Current stable releases are available through the Epic Games Launcher.

  1. Open the Epic Games Launcher.
  2. Navigate to Unreal Engine -> Library and scroll down to Fab Library.
  3. Locate Auto Settings and install it to the Unreal Engine version you want to use.
  4. Open your project in that engine version.
  5. Navigate to Edit -> Plugins, search for Auto Settings, and enable it.
  6. Restart the editor if prompted.

Get Archive, Beta, or Legacy Builds

Use this process for any Auto Settings build distributed through Fab's Additional Files, including legacy 1.x releases, beta versions, or any other build that is not distributed through the Epic Games Launcher.

  1. Visit the Auto Settings page on Fab.
  2. Click the Download button on the right-side panel.
  3. Select the archive that matches the version and engine version you need.
  4. Extract the AutoSettings folder from the archive into the Plugins directory of your project.
    • If your project does not have a Plugins directory yet, create one.
  5. Restart the Unreal Engine editor if it is already running.
  6. Navigate to Edit -> Plugins, search for Auto Settings, and enable it.
  7. Restart the editor again if prompted.

Next Step

For current Auto Settings 2.x setup, continue with the Installation Guide.

If you are using an older release, switch documentation versions using the version picker in the top-right corner.
